Most of us are back to school after the long holiday and are settling in for the new term/new session.
As you settle in for the new school year I would like you to ask yourself some important questions; What is my goal for the new school year? what is my vision and purpose? what do I intend to achieve?... draw up a plan and stick to it!
To help you with that plan, here are some tips to guide you...
- Realize that your primary purpose as a teen is developing your character and investing in your future through sincere commitment to your school work, constantly acquiring knowledge and excelling in academics.
- Realize that what you do today affects how your life would be in future. So my advise is, MAKE THE RIGHT DECISIONS TODAY! FOR A BIGGER, BRIGHTER, HAPPIER FUTURE.
- Always strive for the best and for excellence. Your schoolmates and friends who are good at everything they do, do not have two heads- so YOU CAN! Ask for help and assistance if you must. Asking for help is nothing to be ashamed of.
- Protect your self from negative influence. Stop trying to fit into the crowd of boys and girls who want to have fun and party ALWAYS(get me right, there is nothing wrong with having fun and parting once in a while. Remember what your primary purpose is for now). Joining the crowd only makes you a part of the crowd your aim should be to STANDOUT.
I hope this guides your decisions this new school year.
